Setting up your workspace

A workspace belongs to a firm, not to a person. Clients, imports and reports live inside it, and every request is checked against the firm and the adviser's role on the server.

Create the workspace

Register with your work address and confirm it from the email you receive; an unconfirmed address cannot open a firm's workspace. Then name the organisation. The person who creates it becomes its owner. A new workspace starts on a trial of the Advisor plan.

An adviser who belongs to more than one firm switches between them from the workspace card at the bottom of the sidebar. Each firm's clients are visible only inside that firm.

Roles are enforced by the server on every request. A client, account or report id from another firm answers as not found, whether it is typed into a URL or sent to the API.

Invite colleagues

On plans with team access, the owner creates an invitation in Settings. The invitation link is shown once; the owner copies it to the colleague, who signs in or registers and joins the firm as an adviser. Each member counts as one seat. Each client can be assigned to an adviser.

Two-step sign-in

Each adviser can turn on two-step sign-in in Settings, with codes from an authenticator app or, where available, codes sent by email. Authenticator enrolment issues ten single-use recovery codes; keep them somewhere other than the phone. The owner can require two-step sign-in for the whole firm, after which a member without it cannot open the workspace until they enrol.

Plans and limits

A plan sets the number of seats, active clients and statement imports per month, and whether reports carry the firm's logo and contact block. Archived clients do not count towards the active-client limit. An import is one upload, whatever the number of files in it. Limits are checked on the server, and Settings shows current usage against each one. Pilot pricing is shared on request.

Audit history

Sensitive actions are recorded with the member, the time and the object: clients created, edited, archived or deleted, profile and relocation changes, imports and confirmations, documents downloaded, reports generated, members invited or removed, and settings changed. The history records what happened, not the content of statements or reports. Owners read it in Settings.
